Damien Rice, Justin Vernon and Cantus Domus need to do an album together. It would be untouchable.
Finally someone who reacts exactly as I would. Often times with these videos, the person they're singing to is very sedate and often shows no reaction. As soon as the choir joins in, she smiles unabashedly with such joy. And claps at the end. She's a fan of his music, so it makes sense. But it's still so refreshing to see.
I have never heard or seen this show before? Does the person opposite know what artist they will sit opposite or is it a complete surprise?
She's gonna remember those 10 minutes for the rest of her life! That look in her eyes is pure bliss

Damien Rice is one of the greatest artists of our time and these One to One videos never fail to make that more powerfully so. I get chills with each one.
You're left with the most profound, honest and loving feeling once this experience came to a close.

Attended Damien's concert few months back. It was just for few people so it was not so noisy. And he is even better in real. Won't ever forget it

I had a dream kinda like this a few years ago. I had a phase in which I listen to Damien a lot. After a few days I dreamt that Damien played and sang to me in a van full of mattresses on some random parking lot. I swear I am not gay but I really enjoyed my little personal man to man concert. :D

i think you guys really need to tap into the streaming world with all of these (like Audiotree Live). not just the One to One's, but all the take away shows. i mean, most of the artists would be down (idk about record labels and that kine, maybe if they got the streaming profits) and it'd only give you and the artists more exposure and would give these absolutely beautiful renditions another place to be discovered and enjoyed besides on RUclips. just a thought.

Hes on his knees cause that what unrequited love does to you. Especially when someone plays with your feelings. When they throw love around or feelings around just to.get what they want. Not really meaning it. Love is the Holist of all the emotions of man. It was given by god therefore why'd you sing hallelujah if it means nothing to you Why you sing with me at all.
